It is a rainy morning and half way through wondering what to do for lunch? How about Pizza! You can either make your own pizza dough with what you have on hand in your pantry. Or you can buy ahead they allready made dough at the super markets. Usually located near the dairy. Or near the deli. Depending upon the stores you shop at. I buy the store brand sauce and shreaded chedder cheese. And then decide what type of toppings I'd like. Broccoli, mushrooms, peporoni, meatballs peppers and or onions. And then devide the pizza into fours. Allowing each part of the pizza being that person's own special pizza.
For supper I'm doing an easy bonless pork rib bake with baked potaotes. I baked the potatoes a head at 400 degress about 2 p.m. if you eat at 4 p.m. Then if the kids want mashed, I can take the patatoes and scoup out the inside and mash them or twice bake them. I clean up the ribs from the pack. And wash and save the foam it was on. (Great for a future craft) And then I lay them on the baking dish and season them and let sit covered in the fridge. Then about two hours before I bake I cover them generously with my favorite brand of bbq sauce and bake at 400 for about 50 minutes. Cut pork to see if done when buzzer beeps. For dessert I am making up a box of fudge brownies and then covering them with chocolate fudge icing and sprinkling them with mini color coated candies. For our movie snack I am melting a bag of marshmellows and 1 stick of butter on high heat over the stove top in a stock pot and adding a bag of buttery pop popped corn. I sift through the popcorn removing all kernals first. This is a great snack for family movie night. And we usually never rent or order from cable we borrow from our local library. It is free and it teaches the kids how to use the library and encourages them to read.
