Halloween is near
Halloween is on it's way and it is never to early to plan for it weather you have kids or you are young at heart. I'm making my kid's costume this year. She wants to be a video game character that is hard to find. She will enjoy the costume when it is made and we are spending quality time together. Picking out a costume for your older child can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. Many sites on-line have pictures of kid friendly costumes. Let the child scroll till they find one he/she likes. Babies and infant costumes are fun too. Or for the child in all of us who like to dress up. After the holiday is done. keep the costumes for dress up or for a younger child in your household. If costume is in great condition and don't want to save it donate it. Halloween candy buy bulk and save. Plan ahead. Have kids in school buy goodie bags and trinkets at the dollar stores. Fill and send to teacher to pass out at snack time. Ask teacher to send a list of names and if any child has food allergies. Save leftover candies like candy corn for treats. You can make Marshmallow Crispies with them and you can melt and make candy with them or Candie fruit like apples!
